This is info for the Illinois February 2nd primary election. The deadline to register to vote was Jan. 5, but state law permits a grace period for registration which runs from Jan. 6 to Jan. 26. Those who are allowed the grace period are not eligible to early vote. Early voting (no excuse voting) will be conducted at the office of the Tazewell County Clerk from Monday, January 11, 2010 through Thursday, January 28, 2010. Office hours for early voting are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday; 9:00 a.m. - noon on Saturdays, January 16 and January 23, 2010; and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sundays, January 17 and January 24, 2010.
